Yes, our digital incentives created will be assigned an expiration date 7 days out from the date we sent it. Please note that the expiration date shown on the digital incentives only pertains to the actual activation of the incentive. After the awarded clients activate a vacation incentive, they will have 24 months (about 2 years) to travel.

To activate the guest simply needs to pay the daily taxes and fees that correspond to the incentive online.  Currently, the activation must be paid in $US dollars, we will offer this in other currencies as soon as possible.

The business model works best when the client activates right away otherwise most will forget they even received it. During this 7-day period, we will send them up to 2 emails and or SMS text messages to remind them to activate.

Our redemption rate is the highest in the industry because the 7-day expiration date provides a sense of urgency to activate and use it. Another important reason is that the 7-day expiration date is there to protect us from our partnership with this campaign in the event the contracts change with the participating properties and travel companies, we can easily update or change our offers. The Restaurant incentives are only redeemable in the United States and Canada. Our Complimentary Hotel stay incentives can be used by anyone from any country if the destination they are redeeming is at least 100 Miles or 160 kilometers away from the awarded client’s residence. In other words, the awarded client cannot use a vacation incentive to stay at a hotel in their own city they must be traveling a minimum of 100 miles.

The only exception to this currently for the complimentary hotel stays is Residence of Mexico cannot currently use the Mexico destinations, but they can use the Hotel savings cards and they can use any Complimentary Hotel Incentive outside of Mexico.

No, the expiration date pertains to activation of the vacation incentive only. Once you activate by paying the taxes and fees of a vacation incentive you will then have at least 24 months to travel.  

For example, for our US resorts the activation fee runs from $19.45 per night to about $33.60 on average per night and our Mexico offers $19.70 per night. This fee is subject to change and varies by destination.

The awarded client may activate an incentive online by paying the resort taxes and fees per night.  

Once it is activated within 7 days of receiving the digital incentive, the awarded client will have 24 months to travel. The end-user will get email receipt and links to redeemvacations.com to search for dates and be able to choose from participating hotels for desired dates based on availability. The awarded client can activate a Complimentary Hotel Stay incentive once a year maximum. This means they can take advantage of one vacation incentive once every twelve months from previous travel. Also, they cannot redeem the same destination or specific hotel or hotel chain more than once.

With the Hotel Savings cards, the guest can book a hotel with savings at the last minute, in fact, even same day bookings are available.
